POE 3.29 challenge rewards give the Curse of the Allflame league a long-term target without adding character power. The main prizes arrive at 12, 24, 32, and 36 completed challenges, so your progress is tied to how well you manage the whole league rather than how fast you finish the campaign. You may spend POE currency on gear upgrades along the way, but the rewards themselves are cosmetic.

What are the cosmetic rewards in Curse of the Allflame?

At 12 challenges, you receive the Oceanic Weapon Effect, which is an accessible first target for regular players. Reaching 24 grants the Fangtooth Moray Pet, giving your character a more noticeable league achievement.

The 32-challenge milestone awards the Captain's Wheel Back Attachment. At 36, the Oceanic Portal Effect becomes the standout prize and gives the league its most practical stopping point for players who want the main cosmetic set.

There are also hideout decoration pieces tied to later progress. They begin at 19 challenges and continue through 40, so even the less visible parts of the reward track give extra reasons to keep checking the challenge panel.

How does the reward track change the way you play?

POE 3.29 asks you to move between many parts of the game instead of repeating one activity from start to finish. Campaign bosses, league interactions, vendor recipes, Atlas progress, mapping encounters, crafting tasks, and difficult endgame fights all contribute to the challenge list.

That variety rewards good planning. A fast mapper can clear map objectives quickly but may need to set aside time for crafting requirements. A strong boss character has the opposite problem if its Atlas progress or routine league tasks were ignored during early play.

The best habit is to read the full panel before your character reaches the late game. You don't need to chase every objective immediately, but you should notice requirements that depend on particular encounters, item types, or repeated activities.

Why is 32 challenges a useful checkpoint?

Thirty-two challenges sits in an interesting place. You have already earned the weapon effect, pet, and back attachment, yet the portal effect at 36 is close enough to make a focused push feel worthwhile.

By this point, your build should tell you which objectives deserve attention. A Lightning Spire Trap setup may be comfortable against demanding single-target content, while a Facebreaker Luminary character can offer a more flexible route through mapping and bosses. An Armor Stacker may progress more slowly, but dependable defenses can matter more than peak damage when failed attempts consume your time.

I treat 32 as the point where casual progress ends and selection begins. Review unfinished objectives, remove tasks that clash with your build, and choose several reliable ones before spending resources on a single difficult encounter.

How can normal mapping cover more challenges?

Challenge progress becomes less tiring when your farming route serves more than one purpose. Atlas development, league encounters, currency use, and equipment upgrades can often advance together, especially during a regular mapping session.

Omnitect Rush is useful when you want a focused route with a simple structure. Rogue Exiles and Mercenaries content can also fit a completion plan when your remaining objectives involve enemy types, map encounters, or equipment drops.

Don't judge a method only by its best possible income. A slightly slower route that you can repeat comfortably may finish more challenges than a high-pressure strategy that causes frequent deaths or requires constant preparation.

Should you continue from 36 to 40?

For most players, 36 challenges is the sensible finish line because it awards the Oceanic Portal Effect. The last four objectives are mainly for players who want a complete record, enjoy difficult endgame tasks, or have enough league time to handle specialist requirements.

Before pushing beyond 36, separate your remaining work into reliable, investment-heavy, and specialist objectives. Finish the reliable tasks first, then decide if gear, Atlas changes, or repeated attempts make the others reasonable for your character.

Expensive crafting is rarely required just to reach the portal effect. Improve the part of your build that causes the most failures - defenses, damage, cooldown recovery, resistance coverage, or map speed - before chasing a luxury item such as a high-end 3P2S Lathi project.

Therefore, set 12, 24, 32, and 36 as personal checkpoints, keep challenge progress beside your normal farming plan, and inspect the panel before the league enters its last weeks. Once you know the cost of your remaining objectives, you can upgrade only where it helps, using POE currency for sale when a practical improvement is worth more than another cosmetic chase.
